Grey and Bruce Counties launch 'OneList'

An new online program connects families in Grey and Bruce Counties with licensed/registered child care providers.

It's called 'OneList', and it launched on April 19th.

Director of Social Services for Grey County, Barb Fedy, tells Bayshore Broadcasting News 'OneList' locates child care providers near a family's home, workplace, or any other location.

If a specific provider is unavailable, the family can register for an online waiting list -- and will receive a notification if or when a space becomes available.

Fedy says there is a large demand for the service in Grey-Bruce.

She says similar software is in use in Waterloo and Windsor -- and it has been quite successful.

According to Fedy, 'OneList' is a collaborative tool developed by both Grey County and Bruce County.

RBB Innovations was hired to design the system,  using the OneHSN Integrated Human Services Technology software.
